The story of Windy Hill was born in memory of all the good times spent around the dining table with the family.
With these lovely memories in mind we came up with the idea to start a table linen collection.
We love the ambiance of a convivial, colorful, and lively dining table. We’ve strived to create a collection more outstanding than traditional dining set ups.
The name Windy Hill came to us naturally since it’s the name of our family vacation home on the Belgian coast.
Where everyone was always welcome and where we had great moments full of joy and happiness being together around the table.
This brand is inspired by the warm and welcoming
vacation homes enjoyed by family and friends around the world.
Homes where hosts are pleased to have you in simple but gracious environments and where guests are honored and filled with wonder while in such warm and pleasant ambiance.
Joy and colors are the essence of those wonderful products.
Veronique Bary has 25 years of experience in design and decoration.
In 2013 she to start her own brand and create her first
collection of table linens and textiles meant for wholesale.
She is well traveled and has spent a lot of time in India,
Morocco and Europe to find the right partners
to manufacture her products.
In addition, Veronique wants to link knowledge and
influences of two generations, therefore she and her son Arthur have become associates.
Together they start drawing motifs inspired by design elements that have astonished them during their worldwide travels.
They spend about two months per year in artisans’ workshops to make sure their work is well produced while also insuring that employees are respected and fairly paid for their work, talent and time.
Little by little, they are adding products made in
Belgium and other parts of Europe such as tablemats and napkins made of recycled paper.
Windy Hill is a very family oriented company.
Veronique and her son Arthur Bary take care of the design side and communication while aunt Brigitte Bary takes care of the administrational side of the business.
The collection is small and some pieces are one-of-a-kind.
Our desire is for our creations to give warmth in the interiors with a delicate
simplicity. Our tablecloths fit into two categories. The first one is a tiny more
traditional, inspired by the romance of country houses, chateau life, and large
The second one is more geometric. It has more of an urban dynamism and takes place in a stylish interior like a loft, studio, or an apartment.
Our tablecloths are made in India with the famous Block-Print technique. It’s an ancient technique where color is applied on fabric with a woodblock. It’s all hand-made which makes each of our pieces little bit more unique.
The paint used is AZO free and eco-friendly.
For our paper collection, we have napkins and placemats. We used the designs from our textile collection. It’s all made in Europe, made of recycled paper, chlorine free, and from sustainable sources.
Thanks to all of our trusted and new customers that keep this beautiful journey going…
Merci et à bientôt
